WIAW #27 - Series Time!

Tonight was the first game of the World Series and unfortunately the Tigers lost, but that's okay because we don't even need that game to win!! Tomorrow is another game and this time the Giants are going down!

Birthplace

Oh...right, you're here for the food, not the baseball.  Sorry haha. I haven't taken many photos today, but hopefully I'll have enough the get you though :)

Spooky Snacks and Healthy Halloween Treats

First my snacks.

Top LeftJust bought some World's Finest Chocolate bar tonight to support a co-worker's daughter's fundraiser. I LOVE WF candy bars! Tomorrow I'll be snacking on one of them.  Bottom LeftWhile I was grocery shopping this weekend, I had an impulse buy which was for Heluva Good Dip - Black Bean Queso flavor. It's seasonal; their summer flavor. I'm telling you, stop reading this and go pick some of this dip! And then of course come back and finish this post ;)  The dip is soo good, it's worth the extra trip to the store!! I had some with tortilla chips.  RightLast week was Triscuits and spinach dip. This week is Triscuits and Red Pepper Humus...while at work, as you can tell by the keyboard in between them.

Next is my meals.
Breakfast:

Cheerios with Westsoy Chocolate Peppermint Stick Soy Milk - this has become one of my favorite breakfasts.  Honeycrisp apple.

Lunch:
Old salad picture since I forgot to take a picture of mine today

A salad with Kraft's Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette, which I just picked up this weekend.  It is SO delicious!  It has a spice to it, not hot spice, but just a flavor....I'm not sure how to explain it, except yum!   Also Triscuits with spinach dip and raspberries.

Dinner:
No Photo
Sesame chicken with fried rice, corn and a honeycrisp apple.

Eating out hint:
I went out for Chinese food Monday night with Mike and our friend Bruce. I made my Chinese food stretch for three nights - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Pairing the restaurant main dish with a side of fruits and veggies will help cut down on the calories and sodium you take in.

Well I'm off to dreamland.  Don't forget to hit up Jenn's par-TAY!!
