WIAW #26 -

Well hello again for another What I Ate Wednesday!  Be sure to check out Jenn's post - #91! That girl is such a party-er ;) - in keeping with our theme, Jenn shared some blogger's snacks!  I also have some snacks to share, but nothing as great as the one's Jenn shared...all the same here they are.
Spooky Snacks and Healthy Halloween Treats

Snacks:

Lately I have been snacking on Triscuits and spinach dip.  Triscuits and salsa is great. Triscuits and spinach dip...not so great.  I would rather have bagel chips; which are by far the best thing to dip in spinach dip. I also snacked on some coffee and those amazing candy corn pumpkins.  I <3 candy corn!  It might not be healthy, but you have to enjoy some of the not-so-healthy things too!  Lastly, I was craving something salty, so I picked up some of these mini snack bags of popcorn.  This butter one is pretty good.  I also got a kettle corn, but I have yet to try it.

Breakfast:
Not Pictured

Cheerios with WestSoy Chocolate Peppermint Stick Soy Milk.  I forgot I had bought some of this last winter.  Don't worry it doesn't expire until Novemeber.  I found it in perfect timing, since I have been having a major sweet tooth lately and this stuff hits the spot.  It has a great chocolate-ly taste.

Lunch:

Peanut Butter and Apple Butter sandwich and a Honey Crisp Apple.  I'm pretty sure you can't get more Fall than this lunch...well maybe if I added something pumpkin flavored and had apple cider to drink. I'll work on that for next week ;)  I also had some Triscuits and spinach dip.

Dinner:

What my mom likes to call Preacher's Casserole.  I think others might call it TaterTot casserole? It's normally ground beef, frozen peas, cream of mushroom soup, and tater tots.  Mine has ground turkey, cream of chicken soup and frozen peas/carrots mix.   Anyway my Mom used to make this and it is soo good. This was my first attempt and I think it turned out really well.  Corn and a little more spinach dip with Triscuits.

And yes, I'm reading Dracula for the first time.  So far, so good!

In unrelated to food notes:

Today at the gym, I decided to do the elliptical for 30 minutes instead of the treadmill.  Towards the end, my hands started to feel a little bit numb. It lasted throughout part of the day so naturally I tried to diagnose myself via the web and I did find an article from LiveStrong.  According to that I need to shift my hands more during the exercise.  Have you ever had numbness happen to you while exercising?  It's kinda scary.  I hope it doesn't happen again.

I am currently doing my last two loads of laundry. I started a laundry marathon on Monday and am finishing it up tonight.  Altogether I think it was around 7 or 8 loads and that is just my stuff (with one load of towels and one load of sheets).  Note to self - DO NOT procrastinate on laundry EVER again!

Go at least make an appearance at the party!
