Weekly Update

GOAL #1: Walk 10,000 steps a day
Sunday : 8828
Monday: 11154
Tuesday: 7397
Wednesday: 10882

Saturday: 28182!!!
I am very happy with this week, especially Saturday. I was up at Mackinac Island. My cousins and I walked some trails on the islands for a few hours, which definitely helped!



GOAL #2: Eat healthier EPIC fail this week. This weekend, while at Mackinac Island, I ate out every. single. meal. I tried to pick some healthy things, but I sure got a lot of french fries. Why is it fries are the standard with every meal?? Why didn't I order salads instead? At least I might have gotten some vegetables instead! I had the mindset of "I'm on vacation, so who cares about eating healthy"....not a good mindset to have. I need to get back on the band wagon this week.
GOAL #3: Exercise
Well aside from walking everywhere this weekend while in Mackinac, I did no exercising, so another epic fail.

GOAL #4: No pop
I did, however, keep this goal. I did not have any pop this week, with the exception of a taste of my cousin's energy drink, because he wanted me to try it.

Overall....I need some improvement this week!

  1. It can be so hard to eat right when on vacation. . . and even more so when you're not providing your own food. I kept telling myself that while I wasn't eating the foods on my diet, I'd just have to be extra careful about portion sizes. . . and I totally failed. At least I only gained 3 pounds. . .
